Professional Skills
I have extensive experience facilitating a coordinated team approach and working in collaboration with a variety of allied heath care professionals, educators, early childhood educational organisations and schools to provide early intervention support to children with developmental delay or disability
In 2007 I completed a Bachelor of Justice & Society with Flinders University. The degree has profoundly influenced my view and understanding of social justice issues, social policy and policy reform; specifically with regard to children, family, disability and society. My passionate advocacy for children with disability and early childhood has at its foundations the learning and research undertaken in the completion of this degree. In 2010, I obtained a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood Specialisation) through Charles Darwin University, the award providing accreditation for teacher registration in South Australia and recognition as an Early Childhood Teacher with ACECQA. I constantly strive to learn and research further to better support the incredible children and families I work with, so in 2022 I undertook a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies with Griffith University, graduating with High Distinction in 2023. In 2025 I completed a Masters Degree in Autism Studies with Griffith. This degree has been transformational, deepening my knowledge and understanding of autism, Social and Human Rights Models of Disability, neurodivergence, evidence based strategies, neurodiversity affirming practice, wellbeing and neurodivergence, factors influencing education, learning and development for autistic children and the intrinsic link between behaviour and communication.

Autism Studies
I'm very proud to have completed autism specific studies through Griffith University and the Autism Centre of Excellence.
